I recently obtained a letter from the Vancouver Police Chief Constable, Terry E. Blythe, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

It seems that even in Canada, marking vehicles with a permanent I.D. # has proven to be a substantial benefit for vehicle recovery.
