RE: Western General/Fireman's Fund and Service Payment Plan


Western General/Fireman's Fund and Service Payment Plan, Inc. (SPP) are pleased to announce an 18-month payment plan for Western General/Fireman's Fund Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC's). Effective May 1, 2002, all dealers may offer their Western General/Fireman's Fund VSC customers the option to pay for their VSC in either 12 or 18 monthly payments.

The 12 Month Payment Plan

  • Available for all Western General/Fireman's Fund VSC's with a minimum remaining term of 24 months and 24,000 miles.
  • The SPP fee will be $90.00 so long as the amount financed is less than $2,000.00. In the event the VSC is cancelled during the payment term, the earned SPP fee will be $50.00.
  • The SPP fee will be $140.00 if the amount financed is greater than $2,000.00. In the event the VSC is cancelled during the payment term, the earned SPP fee will be $100.00.

The 18 Month Payment Plan

  • Available for all Western General/Fireman's Fund VSC's with a minimum remaining term of 36 months and 36,000 miles.
  • The SPP fee will be $140.00 so long as the amount financed is less than $2,000.00. In the event the VSC is cancelled during the payment term, the earned SPP fee will be $100.00.
  • The SPP fee will be $225.00 if the amount financed is greater than $2,000.00. In the event the VSC is cancelled during the payment term, the earned SPP fee will be $125.00.
All other terms of the Supplement to Dealer Agreement, as amended from time to time, will remain the same.

Enclosed please find a small supply of the new Payment Plan Retail Installment Agreement. If you need any additional supplies, feel free to give me a call and I will get some more sent out to you right away.
